Welcome To Mutt Rescue And Adoption

We are an animal Rescue located south of San Antonio TX. We take in mostly dogs, however we will take in other animals that are in peril. We are on the Rescue list with ACS (Animal Care Services) We will pull dogs pending Euthanasia, but we also take in Owner Surrender.

Fostering a Dog is Fun & Rewarding. We are always looking for Stay at Home Moms that can bottle feed kittens & puppies! If you would like to foster an adult dog, we will provide all vet care & Dog food while the animal awaits adoption. You must be able to attend our Adoption Events, & pass a few Home Check requirements. Call or E-mail us on how you can be a Foster Parent Today!

You don't have to adopt a dog from us to use our training Services. We offer very low cost dog training sessions for the General Public. We can also help with Behavior problems such as excessive chewing, nuisance barking, jumping, house training and more. Our basic obedience sessions covers the following:

• Stay
• Offleash Walking

Unlike other rescues, there is no charge to surrender your animal. If there is a Foster Home available then we can take in the animal right away. If not, you will be put on a waiting list. We do not discriminate against breed, size, or color. We do our best to find homes for all animals even if it takes them a long time. Some breeds like Pit Bulls will sit in foster homes for 2yrs or more before they can find their forever home. We are very picky on the animals' new home, as most of rescues have been abused or abandoned.
